Albany - Albany Tomorrow changed its bylaws today to allow members to vote by proxy. Low member attendance has left the board unable to even vote on issues at its last two meetings. So Wednesday, they changed the bylaws to allow proxies to vote for them.
Member Emily Jean McAfee said, "This is a very high profile group of business women and men and we do have reasons that we just can't be here in person and it's been unfortunate. I think this was a thoughtful decision and a good decision that got full support."
They did have enough members there today to approve the bylaws change.
