Bainbridge -- A search effort is currently underway for a missing pilot who took off Friday afternoon from Decatur County Airport in Bainbridge and never returned.

Officials with the AG-Flight School in Bainbridge say they need your help in finding 22-year-old Kyle Boss who took off in route to Eufaula, Alabama around 4:30 p.m. Friday.

Search crews both in the air and on the ground have been looking for any sign of the downed aircraft in the area between Bainbridge and Eufaula.

AG-Flight says Boss was piloting a cream colored Citabria aircraft.

If you have any information, or perhaps you heard what might have sounded like a crash, you are asked to contact the Decatur County Sheriff's office or your local law enforcement office.
