Tallahassee, Florida -- A missing Mitchell County mental health patient has been in contacted by family members in Florida.
Al Smith made contact with family members in Tallahassee, Florida. The Mitchell County Sheriff's investigators became concerned when family members reported Smith missing in September.
The fear was Smith was not taking medication for his mental health condition. The Sheriff's office plans to follow up with Smith.
