Dougherty County -- Dougherty County police are looking for a driver who hit a 9-year old boy who was riding a bicycle and kept going.
Darius Johnson was riding his bike on Radium Springs Road when the accident happened. Police say Johnson darted out in front of the car, it hit him and kept going. Johnson was treated for injuries and sent home from the hospital.
Police say the crash was not the driver's fault, but he's in trouble for not stopping. Witnesses say the car was a white four door sedan, possibly a Honda Accord, with dark tinted windows.
Police say the driver should turn himself in. Captain R.W. Jennings of the Dougherty Co. Police said "You are not going to help yourself by not turning yourself in. Sooner or later we are going to find you anyway, so it's better to come down here. If anyone has any information, call us."
Police say the car should have only minor damage to the front end. If you have any information, call the Dougherty County Police at 430-6600 or CRIME STOPPERS at 436-TIPS.
