October 1, 2007

Quitman - A man died Monday after a scuffle with police.

Now, an investigation is underway to determine how he died.

Police in Quitman approached the man at the Friendly Grocery Store early this morning to question him about a robbery.

Investigators say the man pulled out a knife, threatened an officer and they had to subdue him.

Witnesses say police used a taser.

Law enforcers say they think the man died of a heart attack.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is now investigating what happened and how the man died.
