Christian Heritage Festival celebrates all kind of believers
September 29, 2007
Albany -- Christians all over Southwest Georgia came together Saturday for the Christian Heritage Festival.
The Victor Tabernacle Assembly of God put the festival together.
There was food, vendors and even a prayer tent. Several local church choirs and dancers also performed.
"A lot of times you hear about the diversity or the differences that we have, or a negative connotation about the different styles of worship that we have. But we wanted to bring people of all faith together of all different background: culturally, spiritually and learn to appreciate the different styles of worship within the body of Christ," said Pastor Eddie Adams.
Organizers hope to make the festival an annual event. The festival aimed to unite all Christians regardless of the way they choose to worship.
