Albany -- Several South Georgians took the stage Saturday night on a mission to represent the city with a crown.

Twelve young ladies competed for the Miss Albany and Miss Albany Outstanding Teen pageant.

The girls had to compete in the talent, evening, swim wear and question portions.

Kellen Cooper took the crown for Miss Albany, and Carly Mathis was crowned Miss Albany Outstanding Teen.

A former WALB intern, Marie Keefe, won first runner up for Miss Albany.
