Valdosta - A Lowndes County man is headed to prison for child molestation.

35 year-old Melton Watson was convicted of molesting a 12 year old girl two years ago. The girl was a family member of Watson's.

He will be sentenced October 22nd and faces a minimum of 10 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
