Albany - - Albany should have a new Downtown Manager by November.
Next Thursday, three candidates will go through a second round of interviews.
The person hired will lead an effort to attract private development downtown and will serve as director of the Albany Dougherty Inner City Authority.
The selection was delayed after two initial finalists removed their names from consideration.
