Albany -- The Nancy Lopez Hospice Golf Classic makes its 22nd run through Albany Friday at Doublegate Country Club.
LPGA Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lopez hosted a junior golf clinic over the weekend, and Friday will be on the course with local golfers raising money for the Albany Community Hospice.
Lopez has 47 career wins on the LPGA tour, and says now she's happy to be winning off the course.
"When you do events like that, it's fun, because you have to help out, and you have to give back, I really believe that," says Lopez. "Having these pro-ams that people can come and participate in, we're doing a good job and raising money for charity."
There's a pre-tournament bash Thursday at Doublegate.
