Albany - Travel writers from around North America have traveled to Albany to see what we have to offer.

They'll visit The Civil Rights Institute, Thronateekska Heritage Center, the Flint Riverquarium, and Chehaw. The Convention and Visitors Bureau wants to get the writers to feature Albany in their publications.

"Hopefully bring these people in, let them experience what we have to often, see what we've got coming in the future and maybe they'll write it and we can bring some tourists to town," said Lisa Riddle.

The writers arrived in Albany this afternoon and have a full agenda until they leave on Sunday.
