Albany - Albany State's Early Learning center is working hard to prepare dozens of children for successful futures. They dedicated a new childcare center Wednesday.

About 50 two through five year olds currently attend the program where they have contact with nursing, education, and even music students from ASU, It gives the college students hands-on experience in their fields of study.

Jeannette Lucas, Early Learning Center Director said, "Any department that works with children and families, this early learning center is for them."

The early learning center is open to children throughout the community. In addition to all-day programs, an after school program is also available for children five to twelve.
