Lee County --  Firefighters are on the scene of a residential fire 111 Somerset Drive in Lee County. That is in the Doublegate North Subdivision. It's about one block north of the Dougherty County line.

The fire started about 5:30 this afternoon in the two story home. An ambulance was called to the scene.

We are told that a boy, aged ten or eleven, was transported to the hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officials say that no one else was inside the house.

The State Fire Marshall's office is going to investigate.
