Albany -- Dougherty County School Board members will soon meet to discuss their opinions of School Superintendent Sally Whatley's job performance.

The Board had a deadline last Friday to complete an evaluation of the Superintendent. Former Board Chair Willie Weaver says in the past, members would bring their evaluations to a meeting and discuss them with the Superintendent. But this year, the process is different because the board completed this year's evaluation online.

Weaver says he expects the Board to give Whatley a good rating.

"The Superintendent has a new contract that she got six months ago and the majority of the board voted to renew her contract for three years and I think all the board members should get behind her," Weaver says.

No word yet when the Board will discuss the evaluation.
