Albany -- It's back to action this week for the Albany State football team.
The Rams return to the field after a bye week when they host Benedict College Saturday night.
The Tigers are just 1-4, but they present a unique challenge the Dirty Blue defense.
Benedict runs the option on offense, something ASU has not faced this year.
The good news for the Rams defense is the bye week allowed several key members to heal from nagging injuries.
"We got a lot of rest, and some band-aid's on our boo-boo's, and we'll get ready to go this week," says head coach Mike White. "We got quite a few injuries, but I hope we're in better shape. An off week is always good for that."
Albany State hosts Benedict Saturday at 7 p.m.
