Albany -- LPGA Hall-of-Famer Nancy Lopez was helping teach over 80 kids the game of golf at the First Tee of Albany Saturday.
Lopez held her second annual junior golf clinic for kids ages 7 to 18, teaching everything from driving and putting to etiquette and rules.
A four-time player of the year, Lopez now plays a limited LPGA schedule, giving her more time with her clinics and numerous charity events.
Lopez says, "When you see these young kids out here, interested in doing something that is really a lot of fun, I can relate with them back when I was they're age, and I wanted to play golf. I think they always learn a little bit when they leave here, and they always go away with something good and positive, and that's what we want them to do."
The 22nd Annual Nancy Lopez Hospice Golf Classic will take place this Friday at Doublegate Country Club.
