Dougherty County -- Some young Albany professionals met for movies in the park Thursday night at the Parks at Chehaw. Unfortunately, the weather forced the screening of "Remember the Titans" indoors.

Emerge Albany is a young professional group coordinated by the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce.

Members are between the ages of 21 and 41 and looking to expand their social and professional networks.

"Well we hope to network with each other and get to know people that normally we wouldn't get to know. For example, some new people are here from out of town from P&G, and I haven't got to meet those people in the community. I wouldn't have if this group didn't exist," said Emerge member, Liz Gray.

Emerge Albany will hold a networking workshop at the Chamber on October third.
