Albany -- Several Albany organizations are inviting you to take part in healthy exercise and help charities at the same time.
The third annual Tri South Georgia Road Race Series will be held in Albany this fall. The RiverFront Run on October 6th will benefit local cancer patients through the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition.
The November tenth Chili Run will benefit the Albany Area YMCA.
Then on December 1st the Jingle Bell Jog will benefit the Children's Miracle Network at Phoebe Putney Hospital.
Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition's Christi Sheffield said "we're asking families to come out and try to participate in a healthy lifestyle, support local charities and programs, and get that special T-shirt."
Anyone who runs in all three events will get a special T-Shirt made by Albany artist Beth Bauer.
