    A Cordele woman and her father are leading an effort to send clothes and other supplies to tornado victims in Moore, Oklahoma.

Albany--Albany Junior League members got together with young women from Girls Inc. at Turtle Grove Park downtown Tuesday afternoon. Thirty girls were given school supplies.

"The Junior League of Albany came together with Girls Incorporated and we collected numerous school supplies, backpacks, folders, pencils that we are giving away to the children. Girls ages 6 to 13 this afternoon."

The women also served treats to the girls, and they made necklaces and bracelets together.
