Tuscaloosa -- The Albany State football team won its conference opener at home against Kentucky State last week, and were looking to make it two in a row Saturday at against Stillman.

The Rams jumped out to a big league, and held on to beat the Tigers 24-17.

They're now 2-0 in the SIAC.

Albany State has an open date next week, before returning home to face Benedict on September 29th.
