Ocilla -- Two South Georgia men took the law into their own hands to stop a suspected thief. Bryan Britt and Josh Norton were watching television when they went outside for a cigarette break.

They noticed that Norton's truck had been broken into, and his wallet and gun were missing. Bryan had also been victimized. They called police and then set out to look for the thief.

"I just grabbed for his hand and we both tackled him to the ground. And the police were pulling up just as it was happening," said Bryan Britt.

"This used to be a real quiet town. You used to be able to leave your house unlocked, your door unlocked. You never had to worry about anybody. Everybody took care of everybody. And it's just one of those things that if it wasn't for that break, we never would have caught him," said Josh Norton.

Ocilla Police arrested 27-year-old Jason Price on three counts of entering an auto.
