Albany -- The cemetery where flower vases were stolen, may make changes to prevent future thefts.
Earlier this week, we told you thieves have been stealing bronze vases from grave markers at Floral Memory Gardens and Mausoleum. The thieves are likely cashing in the vases at recycling centers.
Officials for Floral Memory Gardens parent company say they're fighting back and plan to change the type of vases they use so they'll have no recyclable value but look similar to the vases used now.
Floral Memory Gardens filed a police report August 31st. Police promised to increase patrols along Old Pretoria Road.
