Tallahassee -- Police say the man that robbed Valdosta bank and used a bicycle to escape was found dead in Jail.
David Voss, 57, of Orlando, robbed the First State Bank in Valdosta on July 31, was arrested Friday in Tallahassee after robbing the Bank of America.
He was found dead in his cell at the Leon Co. Jail on Saturday. Authorities say Voss hanged himself, and died despite efforts to revive him.
Albany Police have responded to a robbery by snatching at the National Package Store on Oakridge Drive. Dispatch has confirmed the call came in just before 8 p.m. Saturday, and the suspect fled the scene.More >>
