Albany -- An East side restaurant may have to close its doors after thieves stole the restaurant's air conditioning unit.

Bold thieves cut the lines leading inside and stole the entire unit. Jackson Food Service owner Doris Roddy stopped by the restaurant Sunday to drop off some items and turned the unit on.

When Roddy arrived Monday to do some prep work, the air conditioner was gone, and it may force her to close the business immediately. "We were struggling anyway, but it's going to cost me," she said.

Roddy says her landlord is trying to get a new air conditioning unit for the building. She warns other business owner to keep an eye out for the thieves.
