One person dies in a fatal wreck in Mitchell

Mitchell County -- A fatal motorcycle wreck on Highway 19 kills one and sends another to the hospital with serious trauma.

The accident happened in the northbound lanes just North of Baconton around 8:00 PM Sunday night.

Mitchell County E.M.S, Autry and Baconton fire departments, and the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office were all dispatched to the scene.

Names of those involved in the wreck or what caused it are not known at this time.

The Mitchell county Sheriff's Office is still investigating.
