Sylvester- Sylvester's Country Club is closed.
Owner Buddy Purvis posted signs on the club house doors announcing it would close Tuesday, September 4th unless a buyer was found. The pool is expected to close Thursday.
Pine Knoll has been open in Worth County since the late 60's. Purvis said he was selling the club because he wanted to retire.
Purvis and his wife are also part owners of Blackbeard's and B & B Bar-B-Que in Albany, but haven't said what they'll do with their share of the business.
