Macon --  A south Georgia businessman and major drug dealer will spend eight years in federal prison.

Forty-seven-year old Solomon Tyrone Daniels owned Solo Industries Incorporated in Ashburn.

Prosecutors say he was the biggest cocaine supplier in the Turner County area. He was caught two years ago after two men he paid to pick up cocaine for him were nabbed in separate traffic stops.

Daniels pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute cocaine and operating an unlicensed money transmitting business.

He also forfeited more than $135,000 in drug proceeds.
