Camilla -- The Southwest Georgia Academy and Westwood football teams opened their season last week, playing in Camilla Thursday night.
That game was suspended with 8:46 to go in the fourth quarter due to lightning, with the Eagles trailing 13-0.
The two teams resumed the contest Monday night, and the wait would be worth it for SGA, as they come from behind to win 14-13 four days after the game officially started.
Southwest Georgia quarterback Drew Bridges completed 7 of 8 passes for 86 yards in the final 8:46, hitting Alex Wilson for a touchdown on the first play from scrimmage, and then tossing the game winner to Miles Lee.
The Eagles travel to Terrell Academy next week, while Westwood visits Sherwood Christian.
