Albany - - A big football game this weekend has area college students showing their school spirit.

Blue and Gold was in full force at Albany State University Friday.

Saturday, the school will play rival Valdosta State University in one of the biggest games of the year. Students are pumped.

"A lot of people have their Albany State shirts on especially at the games and also there's a lot of hype about actually going," says student Latoya Thomas.

"Were trying to show all the school spirit, all the pride we have for Albany state, were just trying to bring something new, something back of the old tradition ASU represents," student Joy Adefarakan added.

The game is Saturday at Valdosta State at 7pm.
