Valdosta - Nineteen candidates have now qualified to run in Valdosta and Lowndes County elections.
Mayor John Fretti is running for re-election. He's being challenged by former state-representative Ron Borders.
Seats are also up for election on city councils in Valdosta, Remerton, Dasher, Hahira, Lake Park.
Qualification will continue until 4:30 Friday afternoon.
