Tifton - The ABAC women's soccer team cut the ribbon on their new home field in Tifton on Tuesday and christened the home sod with a 3-0 win over Georgia Military.
Freshman Amalia Zamora scored two goals for the Fillies and Leslie Wiliams scored the other goal for ABAC.
In other college sports, West Georgia defeated Albany State 3-0 in the Lady Rams volleyball team's first match of the season.
Valdosta State beat Fort Valley State 3-1 at the VSU complex.
Lee County volleyball lost 2-0 to Northside-Warner Robins and beat Mount Zion 2-0.
Terrell Academy defeated Deerfield-Windsor 6-5 in high school softball.
