Albany - The South Georgia Wildcats season came up two games short of playing for the AF2 championship but the team's efforts this season did not go unnoticed.
The South Georgia Wildcats received the Af2's Most Improved Team Operations Award at the league's annual banquet this past weekend.
The league honoring the Wildcats for a ten win season after the team has posted consecutive three win seasons.
General manager Darren McPhail said the award was due to the hard work of team owners, coaches, players, front office staff and the fans.
Season tickets for 2008 are already on sale at the Civic Center Box Office.
