Albany -- An Albany man was shot in the face inside his W. 2nd Ave. apartment early Friday morning.
APD responded to the residence on the 1300 Block of 2nd Ave. That's where they found Eric Bell bleeding from his face.
Police reports say that Bell awoke to someone banging on his door around 4:30 AM.
When the gunman kicked down the door, Bell asked the man not to kill him. That's when the suspect shot Bell in the face.
The suspect is described as a black man, 5 feet 4 inches tall, wearing all black with dread locks. Bell was transported to the hospital. No word on his condition.
