Thomasville-- Some Thomasville realtors are hitting the greens to help sick children.  RE/MAX of Thomasville is gearing up for its first annual golf tournament to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network.

All the proceeds will go to Shands Children's Hospital in Gainesville, Florida which serves the Thomasville area.

That's one of the things we like about Children's Miracle Network. The funds that we raise actually help people in our own area. They're not going off somewhere else. So the people in Thomasville are literally benefiting from this fundraising," said Wendell Carr, Marketing Director for RE/MAX of Thomasville.

Registration is at 7:30 Saturday morning at Country Oaks Golf Course.  The entry fee is $280  per team.
