Dawson - High school basketball has been the king in Terrell County but now Greenwave fans have high expectations for their football program.
Terrell County is no longer the homecoming team on many opponents schedules after back to back trips to the postseason.
Head coach William Huff has some work to do on defense with seven new starters this season.
The offense will have a new quarterback in Albert Brown.
Running back Robert Beauford is back and so are most of the guys who opened the holes for him last season.
The goal at Terrell County this season isn't just to make the postseason but to win some games in the playoffs.
William Huff said "We want to get past the first round and go deep into the playoffs. It is going to start with our scrimmage. We have got to take it one game at a time and be patient. Hopefully, if we take care of one game at a time then the goals that we have set we will be able to accomplish them by the end of the season."
Terrell County opens the season next Saturday at Hugh Mills Stadium against Monroe.
