Moultrie -- Police say someone is stealing a dangerous fertilizer from a cabbage processing company near Spence Field.
The first theft was early Monday morning, the second early Wednesday morning.
A Moultrie Police officer on routine patrol noticed a white cloud above the tank around 3:00 Monday morning. After examining the tank the officer realized an undetermined amount of anhydrous ammonia had been taken from the fenced in area.
Officers are concerned because they say the chemical is one of the main ingredients for making crystal methamphetamine.
Anyone who may have information about the theft is asked to contact the Moultrie Police Department.
