Dawson - Terrell Academy has never been what you might call a finesse team.
The Eagles simply line up and run right at you.
The three yards and a cloud of dust offense has won three GISA state titles and number of region titles.
This year, the Eagles are opening up their offense to take advantage of their speed.
Keaton Icard moves to quarterback and one of his favorite receivers will be speedy Chris Dean.
The backfield has speed to with Daniel Crawford, Gil Brown and Eric Carlson.
The offensive change has not changed the goal at Terrell Academy.
And that is to win a state championship.
Bill Murdock said "I think if we improve like we can, we have got talent. That is what we strive for every year and if you don't set that goal, you are not going to have a chance to get there. We have worked hard toward it and hopefully things can work out for us."
Terrell Academy will open the season at home next Friday against Sherwood Christian.
Before the game, the Eagles will officially name their field in honor of current assistant coach and former head coach Don Beard.
