Sumter County-- Sumter County investigators now say a woman found dead in her home over the weekend was murdered.
An initial autopsy report shows 47-year-old Melanie Kay Strickland died from a gunshot wound.
Her body was found inside her mobile home on Middle River Road Saturday.
