Two players fall in first round of match play at U.S. Amateur

San Francisco, Ca. - Three local players made t to the match play portion of the United States Amateur.

Unfortunately, only one of those three made it past the first round.

 Thomasville's Harris English, who won the Georgia Amateur last month, losing in 19 holes to Eddie Olson.

Bainbridge's Jay Moseley, who won a qualifying tournament, also playing well but the Auburn golfer loses 2 and 1 to Cheng Tsung Pan.

University of Alabama golfer Mark Harrell from Hazelhurst won his match 2 and 1.
