Valdosta - National Geographic Magazine says Valdosta is one of the best places to live, play and seek adventure.
Valdosta was named one of the best wilderness towns in the country due to its close proximity to Wild Adventures Theme Park, the Okefenokee Wildlife Refuge, and Providence Canyon State Park.
Homer, Alaska, Flagstaff, Arizona, and Cody, Wyoming were some of the other cities featured on that list.
