Albany -- An accomplished gospel recording group made a stop in Albany Tuesday night to promote their new cd that just hit stores.

Some members of the Georgia Mass Choir put on a mini-concert at Wal-mart in Lee County. Fans arrived early to get a close look at the singers as they performed songs from their new album they recorded at Sherwood Baptist Church. The album is called "Tell It".

"All of the messages in this cd is a message of love, hope, and deliverance for people in such as time in which we live and we need to tell the good news of Jesus Christ," says Director Rev. Milton Biggham.

The Georgia Mass Choir has recorded several albums. They performed at the 1996 Summer Olympics and even appeared alongside Whitney Houston in the movie "The Preacher's Wife."

The choir is touring Georgia this week.
