Dawson man on trial for murder

Dawson-  A man who moved to Dawson earlier this year is now on trial in Terrell County for the murder of a toddler.

Gary Trotter, Junior is on trial for the death of a two year old boy. Trotter was babysitting his girlfriend's son in May when the little boy stopped breathing.

An autopsy revealed the child died from a blow to the head. If convicted of murder, Trotter will get life in prison.

    We are not sure if workers will return to the Flint River, to continue clean up efforts after a second sewage spill into the water way. Jacobs, the company responsible for the pumps, said in a statement they hope to bring in a third-party source in to assess the damage.
