Albany --  A Dougherty County man was tied up and beaten during a home invasion early Monday.

Ross Evans says three men burst into his home on Radial Avenue just before 2:00 Monday morning. He says they smashed his knee with a baseball bat, then tied him up and ransacked his house.

They stole $700, a pistol, tennis shoes, and clothes.

Investigators say Evans refused to go to the hospital. There have been no arrests.
