Thomasville-- Investigators say seventeen-year-old Jarred Moore went into the quick buys on Highway 84 around 9:15 Friday night, just as the cashier was closing out the register.  They say he grabbed a bag of money from her, injuring her hand and ran out of the store.

The Decatur county canine team helped Cairo police find him 2 hours later hiding in a nearby dumpster.

He's charged with strong-armed robbery, aggravated assault and possession of a knife while committing a crime.  He's in the Grady county jail on $25,000 bond.
