Albany -- Law enforcers from three counties are working together to catch a group of young burglars. They hope you can help them.
Surveillance tape from the Holiday Market in Sale City confirms to Investigators that one group of burglars has struck in at least three counties. Investigators tied the same car to at least five store break-ins in Mitchell, Colquitt, and Tift Counties.
About midnight on August 15th, two people with hoods over the heads are clearly seen on store surveillance tape getting out of the car. They smashed the store's door and took the cash register and cigarettes.
The video shows the face of a young lady in the back seat during this burglary. Investigators hope you can identify her, and lead them to this burglary ring. Mitchell County Sheriff's Office Investigator Tim Williamson said "we have video from Mitchell County, we have video from Tift County, and Colquitt County. It's the same car, and we are sure it's the same group of young people."
Investigators think the car is a Kia or Toyota. If you have any helpful information, you can call the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office at 336-2030, or the Colquitt County or Tift County Sheriff's Offices.
