Albany -- An Albany business says thank you to the Police Department, for the work they do in the community.

Managers from Albany's Sam's Club presented this check for 500 dollars to the Albany Police Department this morning. The grant is part of their Corporate Good Work's Foundation program, to thank Officers for their dedication. Sam's Club Assistant Manager Herbert Brown said "we appreciate the response they do for us. And like I said, anytime we can do anything for them, we want to be at part of it."

The Albany Police will use the money for their crime prevention education programs ,and a scholarship program they are starting in their community orienting policing program.

Each Sam's Club store donates approximately forty thousand dollars to community programs each year.
