Americus -- Former Georgia Bulldog Leonard Pope is getting ready for his second season in the NFL, and looking to improve upon last years rookie campaign.
Pope didn't spend the entire off-season on the golf course, just long enough to host a tournament raising funds for his hometown of Americus.
The 6-foot-8, 265 pound Arizona tight end finished fifth on the team in receptions last year, with 16-catches for 161-yards.
Pope started six-games for the Cardinals in 2006, and is hoping to become an even bigger part of the offense in 2007.
"It's my second year now," says Pope. "I got all the jitterbugs out, and it's just a big thing of experience you have to go through."
