Albany -- A man charged with murder at the Albany Mall has been indicted. Twenty-four-year old Quantravious Upshaw is charged with malice murder, felony murder and aggravated assault.
He was arrested May 10th, moments after 41-year old Terrence Bowen was gunned down outside JC Penney at the Albany Mall.
Upshaw says Bowen was trying to rob him and he was defending himself when he shot Bowen with a nine millimeter pistol.
After the shooting, Upshaw ran across the street to the Westover Car Wash where he was arrested.
The Bainbridge Public Safety Department brought two firetrucks to the Oscar Jackson Outdoor camp for kids.
