Bainbridge-- Deputies spotted a red Honda weaving on Highway 84 in Bainbridge Friday night. They tried to pulled over the car driven by Clarence Tatum, but Tatum and his passenger, Gregory Akins Jr., sped off.
Lieutenant Chip Nix with the Decatur County Sheriff's Office says the men "Threw a large quantity of crack cocaine out the window. They managed to set up a road block with spike strips. Before deploying the spike strips, the vehicle pulled over to the shoulder, to the curb and surrendered."
Tatum's charged with running from officers. Akins, a suspected drug dealer is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to distribute.
