Albany --  A popular Albany restaurant closed because of storm damage is open again.

The Quickie on North Slappey was damaged when heavy rain caused part of the roof to collapse last month. They got busy painting and making repairs and opened for business Monday.

"Quickie has been here since 1954, and it was heart breaking to have it shut down for 30 days, but were back and I'm so looking forward to doing this all over again," said Owner Mike Woodard.

Woodard bought the Quickie from longtime owners, the Andros family, two years ago.
